Amanda is an educational specialist with extensive experience across the educational sector. Her experience extends to vocational and higher education having undertaken roles such as Program Director, Executive Programs for the Australian Graduate School of Management; General Manager, Deakin Australia (corporate arm of Deakin University); Learning & Development Director, Performis (Registered Training Organisation – RTO); and Program Director (Marketing & PR) AMP Training Institute (RTO).
Across these roles Amanda has developed key managerial skills in business strategy, strategic marketing, development of learning and assessment principles and practice, as well as foundation skills and knowledge in teaching. Amanda has created innovative learning and assessment strategies in Business & Marketing for:
• Vocational programs from Certificate IV through to Advanced Diploma
• University based programs from Undergraduate through to Post-graduate
An extension of her skills lies in the understanding of compliance and regulatory environments that impact on both these educational sectors. In her roles within various RTO’s Amanda undertook the function of Compliance Manager and has transitioned programs from Vocational to Higher Ed.
Amanda now works as an educational management consultant offering expert advice on strategic business and marketing opportunities, compliance and regulatory frameworks, and learning & development practices and principles across these sectors. Amanda also lectures in Marketing to Undergraduate and Post Graduate students at Macquarie University, Charles Sturt University (CSU) and The Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE).
Amanda holds a Bachelor in Arts majoring in Sociology and Communications (UNSW), Masters of Business Administration (MBA) (UNSW) and is currently a PhD candidate Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) (CSU). Amanda also holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA).
